Man Maker

Well, great news. Julie is pregnant with our fourth child. Another boy (that makes us undefeated at 4 - 0). I guess I am just a Man Maker. Sorry ladies. Julie and I are excited and due on June 15, 2009. The two names we like are Jaxon Jay Alverson or Jered Jay Alverson. In other news, I found out I will be transferring to a new school starting in the fall. I will be leaving Tooele High School and going to Stansbury High School. Stansbury is a brand new high school and I am looking forward to working there. I will miss the great coaches and teachers at Tooele. With a new school assignment comes new opportunities. I am hopeful to get a basketball coaching position at Stansbury and help start a positive tradition of a quality basketball program.

No wife for a week!

This past week was a very productive one. I got blessed to be home with just myself and my 3 dudes. Wife is off on a Arizona trip. It's amazing what you can get done with little supervision (i.e. my wife not supervising how I watch the 3 kids). All I had to do was put a blanket down in front of the T.V., rent two new games for the Wii (Lego Indiana Jones and Mariokart),fill up 3 mugs of rootbeer and dump a box of cereal on the blanket. 9 hours later the kids still haven't interrupted me. Priceless. I got a chance to do a few things on the computer. Hence, I put some of the pictures of our summer outings on the blog.

Summer Break and Basketball Camps

With summer break starting and basketball camps beginning it is an exciting time in the Alverson household. Jordan, Joshua, and Jarom, participated in the local high schools summer basketball camp. It was great for dad as he is one of the coaches at the local high school. There was also a trip to the zoo to kick off the summer.
